The GSDCC Inc.is Canada's oldest active national breed club, celebrating 100 years in 2022!
Members of the GSDCC Inc. are a diverse group with one thing in common: A passion for the German Shepherd Dog! Every member contributes their unique perspective and insight into the breed, striving for the betterment of the breed.
The GSDCC Inc. is a forum for owners, handlers, breeders, trainers, competitors and judges to all join together to contribute their knowledge, information and experience towards a common goal: The betterment of the breed.
Members HOST and PARTICIPATE in numerous events; LEARN about various aspects of the German Shepherd Dog; SHARE in the excitement of a new litter, show, trial or title win; COMFORT and SUPPORT each other in times of need.

Types of Memberships:
There are two classes of Membership: Voting and Non-Voting
VOTING MEMBERS
(i) Regular Members: A Regular Member shall be owner or co-owner of a registered German Shepherd Dog at the time of application to the GSDCC Inc. and shall have been an Associate Member for at least three consecutive years before submission of their application.
(ii) Life Members: A Life Member shall be an individual who has been a Member of the Corporation for 40 continuous years, or who has been appointed a Life Member by unanimous resolution of the Board; Life Members shall not be required to pay membership dues.
NON-VOTING MEMBERS
(i) Associate Members: An Associate Member is an individual who wishes to advance the mission of the Corporation; an Associate Member shall normally be an owner or co-owner of a registered German Shepherd Dog at the time of application.
(ii) Junior Members: A Junior Member is an individual who wishes to advance the mission of the Corporation and who is under the age of 18 years; Junior Members shall not be required to pay membership dues.
ADMISSION
Subject to any applicable policies of the Canadian Kennel Club, the Board shall accept or reject applications for membership at its sole discretion based on whether the applicant meets the eligibility criteria set out in this Bylaw. The Board may appoint a committee or individual to administer the application process and to make recommendations to the Board on the admission of Members. Dues are payable after membership is approved.
Membership term is January 1 to December 31.
If you become a Member after September 1, your Membership will extend to December 31 the following year.
Ordinary and Family Memberships are valid for 1 or 3 years.
Associate and Junior Memberships are valid for 1 year.

DOUBLE Membership (2 Members living in the same household) 1 year $55; 3 years $150
FAMILY Membership (3 or more Members living in the same household) 1 year $60; 3 years $165
ASSOCIATE Membership: 1 year = $25.00; 3 year = n/a
